Hi
I am in the process of installing a r8000 groupset on my caad10.
The new support for the front derailure is giving me som problems. The bolt simply doesn’t hit the frame! Any ideas of how to solve this?

Don’t sweat it, it will be fine without it. It should have come with a metal wedge that sticks to the frame so the screw doesn’t damage the frame if you want to use it.

Problem is that it goes behind the frame! It dosent hit the wedge if I added it there. A bit hard to see on the picture.kgibbo1868 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 11:22 amDon’t sweat it, it will be fine without it. So the bolt won’t hit the frame at all! I tried to move the bolt on this drawing and crossed out the original bolt. Hope it makes sense.

As said before, crank it up to proper torque and give it a few rides. More than likely, you won't notice the difference without it. It's purpose is to prevent deflection in the derailleur to aid in shifting crispness.
