The eastern region around Liege is very nice for cycling with quiet roads, lots of climbs and stunning views.
Autumn hasn't really started yet but it won't take long anymore before the leaves will turn brown.

Near the top of the Gavia a couple of days ago. Had a lovely week in Bormio with lots of climbing (Stelvio and Mortirolo a.o).

Now back in the flatland called the Netherlands.

Not exactly me and not today either, but what the hell, here are some pictures. Stage 6 of the TdF, taken near Sampzon (La Bastide). I looked for a place where I was able to take fairly good pictures and could keep my distance from others and was lucky enough to find a spot. Edit: voluntary test was negative

First the caravan:

And now the riders:

And the peloton

A beard, polka dots, but more importantly, how is Nils Politt not sponsored by any toothpaste brand yet?

To geolocalize Lacoon's ride, that would be Morat/Murten.

We have very good gravel bike terrain literally outside our door. Yesterday I was out with a real pro (track sprinter). No endurance at all, but a 75km/h finishing kick. He lasted about 30 minutes before I had to take him home. I think a fit border collie would be better for gravel riding.

Awesome dog. That looks like paths/terrain I saw hiking the Dipsea Trail back at the beginning of the year.
