Did anyone follow Campenaerts 8 weeks training plan?
If I read correctly he used an altitude tent to arrive up to 4600 meters.

Quite enjoying the gcn racing coverage of previous races.

For instance giro 2018 stage 19..aka Froome's stage
. They have comments and talking points by Froome /Yates and some others.. Good insight to their mindset and talking points on the race/stage.
Available on the gcn app.

Johannes Klaebo is apparently giving pro cycling a go.

He is a talent. If he’s not a complete moron on the bike, I would expect to see him killing the hilly Classics in a couple years. Anyone who watches XC skiing can tell you why: he has a motor that can’t be matched. An extra gear.

Norwegian commentators are speculating that the agreement between Klæbo and Uno-X is the forerunner to an elite commercial cross country skiing team, a "competitor" to the Norwegian national team.
My guess is that this move is mainly a smart way for Uno-X to get exposure towards the cross country skiing cracy Norwegian public. Klæbo's got the engine all right and he's lightning fast. I have my doubts about his abilities in a peloton and his position on the bike is about as pretty as Ilnur Zakarin's.

Talking of Uno-X a new episode of The Next Step2 is out: Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.

^this is truly appaling - CCC has been financially involved in cycling for as long as I remember (20 years easily) and after reaching the top they just fold.. I get the company has some tough time having invested a lot of money, lots of borrowed cash is due to be repaid etc, but I fear there's no coming back after this. and it's not like sponsoring cycling is some fancy strategy - it's personal (just like in case of e.g. Oleg Tinkov) but the dude has lost all the credibility in my eyes.. sure as hell won't buy shoes from them too, despite the fact they recently aquired my fav shoe brand..

It's appalling that a retailer is cutting back on sponsorships in light of COVID? Retail is one of the most vulnerable sectors right now and many will fold. I think it's a little out of touch with reality to be upset by that unless you know for certain they aren't impacted by the pandemic.

Invested in cycling for 20 years...no longer can do it during the greatest economic depression in memory...loses all credibility and you seem shook up personally? Get a grip there's 13million unemployed people in the USA alone due to current events - sport is and always will be a luxury.

What IchDien said, if CCC pulling sponsorship from sport means that workers in the company get to keep their jobs that is great news. Not ideal for cycling but this pandemic is bigger than that.

lol if you only knew what you're all talking about.. CCC announced they're gonna fire like 1k+ employees. one week later, they got few million euros from goverment - and yup, still are about to fold as many shops as possible. and people are being let go too, on a regular basis. we're talking about a company, who made his owner one of the richest guys in this neck of the woods. and yet, he just choses to let it all go in the name of zeros he's stashed on his personal account. yeah, I won;t get into politics and stuff - not a place nore time - but if you feel those who got insanely rich shouldn't stake at least some of their capital, perhaps go donate to amazon - according to jeff bezos they're freakin struggling to survive

You do realize that a publicly traded company and a private person are not the same entity even if the person is a major owner of that company? And every major owner of a big publicly traded company has a massive personal financial stake in how well the company does. You surely have to be aware that their net worths aren't just dollars on their bank accounts but it comes from the stock they own in the company. If the company goes bankrupt all of that stock they have is now worthless and hundreds of millions to billions could vanish from their net worth just like that.

really.. it's the same old story all over again whenever a big company gets into trouble - so it's fair when for years this major owner and the rest of the gang earnes big time partially due to low wages, tax cuts, etc, but when said company hits a bump, "an owner and company are not the same entity" and "his assets are entirely separate"... god I wish there's a new economic world order on a horizon, because times like these (and all the major crisises really) prove how "fairness", "responsibility" but also "equality" or "justice" are only empty phrases, that rich and powerful use to cover their dealings as they see fit; mostly for their own benefit.
