Men's CX kind of feels like watching amateurs race without Mathieu and Wout, not that it's necessarily a bad thing though, it can be more entertaining to watch slightly less talented guys that are more closely matched than a season long of watching Mathieu ride away on his own in the first lap and knowing the outcome too well before the race even starts.

Women's CX races already have the best riders in attendance though, some good racing already happened.

Speaking of cross, I haven't found a way I'm happy with to watch it here in the US. GCN has it I guess? But it seems silly to pay them and then have to mirror it to my tv.

Other than Koppenbergcross, I've successfully watched every race on youtube so far, free (and yes, you get what you pay for, but it has been generally pretty good for being free).

YMMV

GCN has RacePass which they show on their website as well.

Now you know why BMC sells the Masterpiece Roadmachine frame €10,000, you basically adopt a pro cyclist when you buy one!

Its not like a worth of 40 BMC bikes is wasted on the Pro team. All the bikes after season will get back to BMC and they will sold them on fairly high price, probably without a loss on the equipment itself. But thats of course just a small part of the puzzle right? There must be some millions of euro also in the sponsporship deal :)

A reported budget at around €8M. Not exactly Ineos. Might drop to Pro level even.

IMHO ineos' budget is crazy high for today's reality. I know, pros would like to earn just like tennis stars, but let's step aside for a moment and answer this - should they really? should athletes become millionaires before hitting their 30s? is that the goal here? isn't it somehow depraving, especially considering these huge contracts only increase pay gap.. ?
