It should be your risk that you want to return something, not theirs. You consciously make a purchasing decision, you're not lending it from them against a fee.

If it's faulty you'll get the postage refunded, if it's just because you chose the wrong size/colour/specification, it's your problem, not theirs.

Some places offer free returns, Bike24 don't. (Not sure many places offer international returns actually.)

This has got to be the weirdest post I read.

If you paid by PayPal, they offer to refund return shipping. Quite a useful service if you want to order something that you're not quite sure about:

Hey Mendiz, why did you need to return the bike?

Bike24 DOES offer free returns.
I returned items to them numerous times with them paying for it.
I live in Belgium.
You just send them the e-mail to announce you're cancelling the purchase (you can use the template under the 'Returns' section in your order confirmation e-mail.
Just add a request to receive a return label to stick on the box in your cancellation e-mail, they will always send you one.
For me personally, they have been a very good online shop to work with in the past.

I once returned a wrong size ordered bike shoes and bike24 sent me a code for free shipping, exchanged for a larger size at no cost, no problem.

This whole topic is a bit silly, as bike24 has ALL the information for returns listed in their e-mail where they send you the receipt and then the shipping information.

Same here, was offered free return shipping from them when I wanted to change the size.

Bike24 do indeed offer free international returns.

Just email them and they'll send u a PP label, make sure you put your order number inside the box.

I ordered CX tubulars a few years back, and they sent me the wrong ones.. I contacted them, and they just asked for a picture of the wrong item.. I am in Canada, they told me pick the quickest shipping method up to whatever value they told me, and to email/fax them a copy of the receipt.. I was fully refunded for shipping costs...

I ordered Mcfk seatpost in ud , and I do not like it , I will buy 3k , it's my fault, I payed 18 euros yesterday to send to Germany. In september I will present my new bike, SS evo Hm with Lightweight and Ax, Schmolke, Carbonworks, etc. Thanks for all answers except the very "clever" shuttlenote and sfo423. For me Bike24 is the best online shop, every component perfectly explained and very easy to search. R2bike is my second favourite shop with components in scale. Years ago I bought bike discount and bike components but the two formers nowadays are superior I think.
