Has anyone noticed a difference in vibrations/ride quality when switching to/from Uno? I'm thinking about getting one for a Merckx Scandium frame but don't want to add any more harshness to the ride (already run low psi).
No, I never noticed any additional road feel. It felt a little more flexible, compared to the XXX stem.

I did get my stem from eBay for 40 as a new take off.
$18 for mine! I spent more for the Blendr mount!

I have just replaced a Kalloy Uno stem on my bike cause few months ago I found out a bit of corrosion (due to sweat) was starting to appear on the inside of the stem where it get attached to the fork tube.

Absolutely incredible! How could I have missed this?! Looks like I will buy a couple of these for quite a few bikes in my stable. -12 degrees would have been perfect but can't complain with that price/weight ratio.
Are there any other similar holy grail items like these? Handlebars? Bottle cages? Headunit mounts?

well, there is the wren stem. 89 g for 100 mm. Not as cheap as Kalloy. But 10 g heavier than extralite and "only" $79.

How wide is the Wren where it clamps on the handlebars? And is the decal removable?

One thing I don't love about the Uno is that it is narrow at the top and bottom where it meets the steerer tube, so spacers have a wider diameter.

This does look horrible, but you just have to keep in mind that if there was extra aluminum there it would increase weight!

Only looks horrible if you use the wrong spacers
They do have spacers that are same size as Kalloy Stems

What spacers these might be?

The 1.29" diameter ones
I know the ones that come with Fuji bikes are already that diameter so I was lucky I had an assortment
I believe Deda sells some?
