Is the Kalloy Uno stem the holy grail of WW?

It's still the same but make sure to get the 7050 aluminium version. The 6061 is a bit heavier.

Yeah there is another version that has a one piece faceplate, look for the 2 piece faceplate

They're sold by SJS in the UK, which is a bit weird for a WW item. SJS is the Britisher's place to go for a 20 kg expedition bike.

The Procraft stem is quite affordable (around 50EU).
Procraft PRC ST1 stems are my favourites! I’m using them last 15 years on all my bikes, both road and MTB. Very light, very strong, titanium bolts included.
