Bike24
Lots of product in stock
Good prices
Reasonable time between order and shipping
Not sure about honoring warranty.
I had a novatec freehub with bearing not fully seated.
They claimed it was normal.
Bought a union chain tool campagnolo 11 speed. Compatible.
Turns out it wasn’t and was advised to wedge a screwdriver tip in to act as anvil.

I would not buy anything with high change of needing warranty. (For that I use futurumshop.nl )

Most times ordering online from NA is a major PITA because shipping charges that Canadian shops charge is more than what it cost to ship from the UK or Europe. Our Canadian dollar goes further in the UK than it does in the US. US shipping charges are reasonable but the problem is when the parcels cross the border with the brokerage and handling fees which can cost alot of times half of what the parcel cost. Its just not worth it in the end. Canadian bike shops are getting better with the shipping fees but its going to take time but who knows after the dust settles with Covid19.

Yes there are so many products that are 20% to 50% more expensive in Canada compared to Europe !!!!!! And without any reason ImageImage

Once they see that people are buying outside Canada the manufacturers will hopefully change their pricing policy (and the value chain). That was the case for many (not all) products in Switzerland compared to the EU.

But until then the Canadian import companies will try everything to stop this cross border sales.

Fair enough.

For us europeans it's the same with north american products. Especially smaller to mid size vendors. I'd love me some chris king or white industries hubs without braking the bank.

As far as cycling goods from the EU to Canada/US, they will not change their pricing policy. What the companies will do is disallow shops from sending stuff overseas, or they run the risk of having the product lines pulled from their shops.

Because hey, why pay $170 US dollars for a pair of Sidi 10 shoes when you can get them at your lbs for $299? (sarcasm)

Bit of an old thread, but for anyone worried about shipping to Canada from Bike24, I placed an order 9 days ago for tires, tubes and brake pads, totalling about 135 euro, and it arrived today with no duty or brokerage fees. Again, I only ordered bike parts - no clothes, but it was increadibly fast and no additional charges was the icing on the cake.

Another Canadian here. I received an R2-bike order today valued at 350euro and it too didn't get dinged any extra $. It did take a month though, but worth the wait given the lack of charges.

i've order parts from bike24 before with no problem. i'm waiting for another order hydraulic shifters eps , what I did is i split the order into 2 because if I did 1 order for the set of shifters it will cost me $900 which is over the custom tax bracket, 1 shifter goes to my house and the other at my work. even with 2 shipping charges, the price of the set still cheaper compare to US local online sellers. I just wish their shiping charges to US is a little less.
