Bottles are all top shelf dishwasher safe these days. No reason not to do it, unless you are forced to stick it on the bottom shelf like dgasmd.

Well, yeah, but i've never had a dishwasher with a top shelf deep enough to fit even a 500ml bottle.
Those dishwashers i've had with an adjustable top shelf means that i can't get anything in the bottom shelf, like dishes.

Also, dishwashers aren't really standard in a lot of europe (even though they are a lot more common than they were even 10 years ago). I know that none of the houses i've had (owned/rented) in the UK even had room for a dishwasher. Not without knocking a wall down to extend the kitchen!

I use sterilizer tabs or liqiud,drop a tab in or drop of liqiud fill with water and 30 mins later like brand new.
