Short ride with my parents, who were visiting. Then with the boat back to Geneva.

Tough old day out, did the 225, 10th. Great to ride on closed roads, recommended. Mixing back up with slower riders from shorter course on small roads was a bit dangerous though.

Impressive! What time did you get there to be so near the front?
I came 247th in the 312!!!
But I stopped to help my buddy who fell twice and still won her race!

Have to admit to a bit of veteran barrier hopping but I still didn’t cross the start line till 9 minutes after the start.

Yeah tons of crashes out there. Woman who won the 225 crashed right in front of me but she saved herself from what could’ve been a much nastier fall. Saw another guy picking himself out of the woods but seemed ok. I luckily hooked up with a German guy who was also a strong descender and we did a lot of our group hopping via descending.

Nice photos, MoPho. Are those hills SE bay area? I've done a bunch of riding in the bay area but always on the other side of the bridge in Marin. Great place to ride. Didn't know you were sick but glad you're feeling better.

Thanks. The first shot is SE BA just outside Livermoore, the MTB shots are little north in Crockett.
Nothing serious in terms of sickness, just back to back nasty colds that kept me off the bike between the particularly rainy winter we had. I'm still paying for it though :?

Hard day yesterday 190km, 3400m climbing.
Master proved to be a nice comfortable bike, standard crankset was a bit painful to ride on 12% hills but that's life :)
