On the road today a tree completely blocking the way. Crazy windy in S England this morning, this wasn't even the only tree blocking the road.

I'm sure it's hell of alot quieter than my ride yesterday.
Was foggy and humid.

That's exactly what came to my mind too. It's the equivalent of a scene from Monty Python.... "It's just a flesh wound..."

It was more a case of "None shall pass!".

Yeah, but that's a hell of a big "shrubbery"!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all in Christchurch with hopes that none were caught up in today's tragedy!

Thanks for the kind thoughts and words.

Definitely super surreal. The city is just stunned. Shocked. So quiet. There's very little wind today (which is rare here) and there's just no noise, it's like a ghost town. Mood and vibe is sad yet so united.

Never ever in a million years thought this could happen here. We are so far from anywhere, so insignificant and unknown, just never thought we would be on the radar of a terrorist. Just goes to show, we all (the whole world) need to need to stand together against these attacks. They are attacks not just on one sector of a community, in one town in the world, they are attacks on all of civilisation and freedom around the whole world.

There's been a lot of talk here (and I fully support it) that the Christchurch muslim community ARE us. We stand with them.

Kia Kaha Christchurch. Kia Kaha the whole World.
