Seems like current new way to start sentences, hear it on podcasts all time. Lance is real bad for it.
By the way.
Over in the uk we have "to be fair". All these ways of starting sentences that you pretty much leave out.
Seriously?
Lance as an example??

Another good reason for you to skip his podcast!

If you’re in the peloton on the Vars-Izoard-Galibier stage there’s a left hair pin turn in Saint Paul sur Ubaye on the lower slopes of Col de Vars where if you instead turn right to end up at the La Sauvage brewery. I recommend doing so on such a savage stage. Their blonde is as good as a blonde gets.

Ewan and Groenewegen were good today.

How can the Trek team not have espresso machines on the team bus?

And Segafredo is the sponsor of that team!

I suppose that Porte doesn't like Italian coffee either.

Happy for Ewan today. The big names were all there. He chose the right wheel, and delivered.

Louis :)

No dominating sprinter this year, Teunissen, Viviani, Sagan, Groenewgen, Van Aert and now Ewan each have one stage win.

I could have sworn I saw a tour of their team bus and it had coffee machines....maybe they had run out or he just doesn’t like the machine...

Taste being what it is, "decent coffee" can mean bio-organic single-origin cold press, or a Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha, with artificially-sweetened whipped cream and two whole sachets of Equal (1).

There are a few people I know who take their Nespresso's very seriously, despite access to multiple boutique cafés.

Depends who you ask.

The dude was literally crying after winning the stage. So emotional. It has been a tough tour for him and a lot of close finishes but he always seemed out of position. He looked way too close to the front when the visma boys lit it up today as well but switched wheels seamlessly. I love that dude.

Surprised no-ones talked about him cutting off Bonifazio; causing him to smash into someone's phone with his head...

Umm, if it was a rest day interview wouldn't the context be heading out on a cafe ride and not being able to find a decent coffee at said cafes? I'd imagine the team bus is the last place they want to hang out in on their one day of freedom

Plus he lives in Monaco, so prob spends a fair bit more time riding around France than just the Tour de France, y'know?

He may not be able to safely navigate a 3 week tour but being Australian he’d have a better idea of what decent coffee is than 99% of the peloton.

Probably a high chance he’s worked in London as a barista

Haha this. Australia is right up there with the best in the world based on my experience. Italy is probably more consistently good for espresso but there are a number of Sydney and Melbourne roasters and cafes that are seriously world class.
