+1 on Stage 4 finish.

I sat my kid down, who races, and showed him this as an example to never give up.

that was something else....

And today stage 5 should be entertaining too, I like this new T-A version with no mountain top finish !

Quintana had to be reminded to sprint for the bonus seconds by a guy on another team. Come on, man.

SKY burned themselves yesterday chasing Gilbert, I don't see them bringing Quintana & co today

edit: OK, I take it back - looks like Quin's left alone and Kwiato's working for Bernal :|

Am I watching 2 identical races ?! An Astana rider alone at the front with a Yates chasing, unbelivable

EF might pull it back, but it looks like they (the entire break) mucked this one up. You can’t give an Izaguirre brother 20 seconds before you start chasing. Yes, Quintana is obligated to chase to win the race, but you guys need to help if you want to win the stage.

Very surprised that Naesen and others haven’t helped.

seems to me too many riders these days just let go when they feel someone else should do the work, instead of trying to win at all cost. kinda like Sagan does, the difference being he actually wins a lot anyway.

and Movistar - as usual - lost it due to weak team. for how long were Quintana's mates up there to help him out - 20, 30 kms? if that's how they want to fight in GTs, the outcome seems pretty predictable

Had to laugh at De Gendt accessorizing the KoM jersey with a polka dot helmet. Ever seen that outside a GT before?

Man, I gotta give it to QS,Astana, Allaphillipe and the Yates bros early this season. They're taking stages and overalls. Chapeau to Lutsenko (what a Fn ride), dope or no dope (I'm pro doping). Taking the races by the balls makes for some exciting racing, not this scientific calculator-power meter racing by Sky.

Looking forward to the Classics now. Allaphillipe looks like he's about to sweep the Ardennes. Would love to see how he works with Gilbert, or not. F it Julian, it's all yours kid.

but will they want to keep fueling... erm, sponsoring a rather unsuccessful cycling team?

I guess they'll fuel some aquisitions in addition to Terpstra. They bought Direct Energie last year.

That could very well change with a boosted budget.
