Happy New Year everyone!
Any news about 2019 sponsor renewals for pro-cx racers and equipment changes?
Wout van Aert was trying Look X-Track SPD in september-december 2018 (after riding Time Atac XC12 pedals for years)
it was terrible, he failed almost all starts, including last two big races on 23.12.2018 and 30.12.2018:
I don't think anyone on look x-track spd can win cx world championship, no other cx rider use this pedals
in 2018 Nino Schurter lost mtb world cup race only because of unclipped non-shimano spd pedal (from Ritchey)

Assos kit just a little bit more outlandish than the Oakley/Bioracer.
DiData: Giro helmets and Rotor cranks
Delko-Marseille: Ekoi glasses-helmets and LOOK frames
EF-Cannondale: stays with POC helmets and glasses, Rapha kit
FDJ: Giro helmets
Burgos-BH: FSA groups
Arkea-Samsic: Shimano groups (they were on Sram)
AG2R: confirmed with Campagnolo groups (Rotor cranks)

Bikerumor has published a pro bike check regarding Dimension Data's BMC Teammachine. Nothing too special on the bike apart Enve's "prototype" wheels and a longer than 120mm semi-integrated stem.
Rotor seems to remain in a special role aboard the pro peloton. Their cranks, chainrings and crank based powermeters seem to hold their spot on some bikes year after year, but the full groupset still remains unseen.

They're ''testing'' it with the women since last year:

I think a disc version of ENVE’s carbon hub is a legit prototype. First I’ve seen of it anyway.

They're very nice looking up close. 150mm stems rock

*like
Although, still trying to work out if the black bit on the head tube is the right call, obvs trying to make the head tube appear shorter but it also just makes it look like it’s got a shit load of spacers there?
