Adam Hansen doing lot of work at the fron of peloton on a lightweight bike, wht? Why.? Adam is one of the smartest guy in the peoloton and he choose rim brake climbing bike for a domestic role on flat 300km race. That seems to be a really stupid choice.

Knowing the guy, there is probably a good reason for that choice, maybe he can't get his position right on the aero frame or something like that. In any case though, the frame is just a very small part of the equation, and overall what he is riding is a pretty aero bike, and more importantly, a very aero position.

291km and almost seven hours on the bike at race speed. I think there may be some attention directed towards general comfort for a long day at the office.

Superb finish from Alaphilippe. That was a serious final group coming to the line.

So that's the first four big one day classics of 2019 - OHN, KBK, Strade Bianche and now MSR - all taken by Deceuninck-QS. Wow!

Who will they have for Flanders? Gilbert looks too old to do a 50k solo breakaway. Stybar am not sure if he's that fast up the bergs vs the rest. Lampaet seems like a long shot. Alaphilippe will probably save himself for the Ardennes.

He might not like Noah but he has certainly a raced on one already. Adam is one of the first guys who started wearing skin suits in all races so watts are certainly important for him.
