Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of MVDP, and I rooted for him at todays race the Danilith Nokere Koerse. And I really hoped that nothing serious had happened to him at his crash in the finale. But how is it, that he was lying on the cobbles not moving and had to be picked up with a stretcher and put in an ambulance, when nothing serious happened to him? I mean, I'm not a doctor, but if nothing else than abrasions and bruises had happened to him, why didn't he get up by himself then?? Why all the drama with ambulance and stretchers...
Because he didn't know if he had spinal injuries and had the wits to take no chances?

Ffs. I'd be lying down for a bit as well after a crash that nasty.
I used to always get this Life Alert thing mixed up with “Lights on! Lights Off” Clapper thing. No one ever came to rescue me but it was kinda cool watching the lights flick on and off.

He sure was at the best place for such a thing to happen, with most of the sprinters waiting for the right wheel to bring them to the final 200-300 m. A few got caught in the crash or were left behind and missed the sprint.
He has great puncheur power for sure, but there are risks living the life of a sprinter...

The guy in yellow on the left of the road, Floris Gerts of the continental team Tartelleto-Isorex, made a much more naste crash than MDVP. but as MDVP is zo wel know mediia is focussing on him and as I've been told unfortunately even the first-aid team was focussing too much on him. (do'nt get me wrong I do not want any harm to be done to MDVP and I'm really excited he will be racing on the road-races)

Michael, swing by my house and I’ll fix that for ya. As long as you take me on one of your next video shoots.... truly beautiful.

That is awful. I couldn't ride with that. I'd get off and call a taxi.
And how about a shave and a haircut for Mr. Mathews. Almost looks like a homeless guy that happens to be in really great shape. It would be nice to see him pull off the win though.
