As evidenced by the way Evenepoel mopped the floor with the opposition at the Junior World's using previous generation machinery, let's remember that you don't need the absolute latest and greatest. Let your legs do the talking!

Y'all acted like he was out there riding a wooden bike. It's still a S-Works SL5 with DA DI2 - that's hardly old. He's probably faster without the stupid disc brakes too

I get the sentiment but if you have the money and you want the latest and greatest, why not treat yourself?

Dunno if you're talking to me, but we know it ain't old gear. The Flemish boy could have been riding a farmyard gate yesterday and he'd still have won. We're being humourous you pillock.

It's true, I have finally found a pair of very good legs as of lately, so good that it doesn't matter to ,e that much what is under my legs...but I still want the best under me and it still makes a difference!!!! And this is a bike forum, not an athletisim, and even if I race and love it, I only do it with a bike, because what it comes to it, in the end, for me at least, is the love of cycling that drives me, not the love of athletisism. So why is almost everyone so upset in here and in the pro discussion about people wanting more out of their bikes???????????

Your sarcasm game is weak, comes across as serious.

Don't think so - with four exclamation marks and a LOL in only 12 words, you need to reset your filter chummie. Is English your first language?
