No idea re 30's, but have fitted Conti 28's in there.

There are too many variable to state whether a 'nominated' tyre size will fit, as rim width, brand and even tyre model make a difference

Quick question, how much clearance left did you have in the fork area and chainstay area for the Conti 28's? Thanks

No idea of actual measurement.

Max was 25's with full fenders though. Don't have a running bike, so can't measure

Riding trip closer to home? I'm in Queenstown NZ and some of the riding here is great though the riding culture and general historic feel of the place isn't on a par with the Alps or Pyrenees.
