So who's going to win the TT? Who's on form, who's riding?

The big climb might make the race actually exciting to watch :D.

How can you bet on anyone but Dumoulin for the TT?

The few people that could match him in flat/rolling TT pace AND climbing strength (Froome, Thomas) aren’t racing.

Castroviejo or Moscon to medal. Roglic would have a good shot but isn’t doing the TT because of his crash.

I wouldn’t discount any of those guys. Roglic and Alaphilippe seem to be on an upward trajectory. Kwiato and Nibali seem like they have been saving themselves and preparing for the worlds during the latter part of the season (if not for the whole season in Nibali’s case).
Nibali broke his back in the Tour, remember. He hasn't been saving himself, he's been desperately trying to recover sufficiently in time to perform, unfortunately

I’d love to be proven wrong, but I’m guessing Dennis will ship a minute to Dumoulin between the start of the climb and the end of the TT.

Dennis is in excellent form, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a very close fight between D & D.

But Viviani said 'Nibali is ready' with a knowing:
I can't see it happening, but I'd love to be proved wrong!

RR:
Valgren, Terpstra (is he riding) Alaphilpe, Poels, Valverde, Martin (D), Kwiat, Yates maybe, GvA or perhaps past it?

Terpstra is only there for the TTT. Course is way to hard for him, he isn't a climber but a classics guy.
Dutch team: Dumoulin, Poels, Mollema (most likely the 3 leaders/protected riders), Kruijswijk, Kelderman, Oomen, Tolhoek, Weening.

Ah righto. Wasn't sure the length of the climb.

Here's what the bookies say. A few days old though. https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/raci ... uck-394765

Not really- it’s what cyclingweekly says the bookies say (please don’t quote that publication again)

Odds as of today:

Because he's famous and bookies odds represent the punters.

I think Dan looks like a good outside bet!
