Now, just imagine if Nibali hadn’t had two teammates kill themselves chasing.

Sky would have blown earlier.

Fools.

Or, they’d have ridden the Roseland slower (as they were doing) and blown up further into the last climb.

Ludicrous from the Quintana/Bardet group right now though. TD, GT and CF up the road and they’re just attacking each other for what? 4th in GC ?

And again this is the amazing thing from Kwiatkowski. A rider of his calibre knowing that his job today is to ride until he blows up. And that his job tomorrow will be to ride until he blows up. And in the Pyrenees his job will be...

The Welsh rider Thomas will collapse within final two weeks.

Posturing and looking strong is more important than pulling back time?

I don’t know. You’d think they’d understand that working together is to their mutual benefit, but oxygen deprivation makes you do funny things.

Wow, what a ride by Big Tom today. Assuming Thomas blows up, are we looking at the same first two places in July as they were in May???

At the moment yes.
Roglic, Bardet, Quintana, etc... don't seem to be strong enough.

But in a 3 weeks race the problem is really the day-off especially if it is in the mountains....

Yup.. Sky is so far above others in organisation and execution of tactics in gc.

Dumo and Dan did really well.

I'm completely off the nairo train... So unimpressed by his reluctance to do any work in chasing froome. Doesn't ride like a champion does.. He wants everyone else in the peleton to do the work for him.. Pathetic.
Rest of the group he was in wasn't much better.
Poor Neive soo soo close.. That head dip at the end was heartbreaking but as a former sky rider probably expected it.

Yepp same here concerning Quintana. He just never attacks since last year. Just stays in the wheels.
