Nah man, it's a different ballgame. Castroviejo's position has changed a few times but in its extremes (which he seems to have gone back to now) his shoulders are lower than his hips, his elbows are way lower than his knees, and he's hitting the back of his arms as soon as he slides forwards. Rosskopf is basically standard in comparison. Check it:CrankAddictsRich wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 7:07 pmfor sure.... Joey Rosskopf might be a close second.

One thing I’ve always wondered. Do they ever go “radio controlled”?
As in, keep the head down and super aero until someone on the radio tells them “left turn 100m”? I realize radios can always malfunction, that’s what megaphones and car horns are for.

interesting that all the BMC riders I've seen prefer the flatbar angled upward on the timemachine
Would be dangerous with potholes etc tho. In the car they might know the route, but not every crack in the road.LeDuke wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 12:43 amOne thing I’ve always wondered. Do they ever go “radio controlled”?

Kwiatkowski wins the Polish national championship after 200k’s in the breakaway.
Ok so, whats up with the deal between Mitchelton and Pirelli? Rebadge tubular or real Pirelli tire?

Good. He’s a hard, hard man.Wookski wrote:Kwiatkowski wins the Polish national championship after 200k’s in the breakaway.
It’s interesting to me that in Europe, WT pros seem to really want to win their national championship. QS in Belgium, Movistar in Spain, in particular. Meanwhile, it seems like half of the American WT guys aren’t in the race. TvG, Stetina, Dombrowski, Phinney, and I’m sure some others aren’t there.
But Haga, Reijnen, Rosskopf, Bookwalter, Howes, Brown, King, etc. are there, I suppose.

9-man break that got ripped by Kwiato, losing all the local dudes, and turned into a 4-man race with Golas (SKY), Bodnar (Bora) and Owsian (CCC). I'm not sure the fact they made it all the way from the start to the finish line is an indication of a tough competition, but whatever - there was no tv broadcast anyway

Atlantic ocean and several days of training disruption and jet lag might have something to do with that. Particularly at a key time when building for the Tour.LeDuke wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 9:22 pmIt’s interesting to me that in Europe, WT pros seem to really want to win their national championship. Beginning to wonder if this is going to be a winless year for Cav. Hoping he proves us wrong at the tour
Don’t forget that old dude Horner.LeDuke wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 9:22 pmGood. He’s a hard, hard man.Wookski wrote:Kwiatkowski wins the Polish national championship after 200k’s in the breakaway.

Coryn Rivera finally grabs the US Women's Pro Road title... I'm not even sure how many times she's finished 2nd, 2 or 3 I think.
Were the Chech and Slovak champoinships run as the same race?
