Yes, he was a joke. Not a worthy winner.

Not doping related, going back to the stolen trophy. I'm slightly surprised they didn't/don't have replicas made up for all the promotional work. That said, the amount of Olympic medals that seem to get left in taxis is also pretty high over the years.

When the players get the Stanley Cup for a day (Ice Hockey), is that the actual cup or a replica?

>Óscar Pereiro was a joke.

Seriously? Like every epic espace race/stage winner is a joke?
Pereiro beat some very good names, future Tour winner Sastre and Evans included. Landis was the joke! That epic stage 17 was the f**** joke.
"Joke" Pereiro finished the stage with Kloden, Evans, Sastre 1:20 before him. Is that a joke? @#$%&!
Whether you like him or not... His bike was ace and the only 'Magnesium' frame to with the TDF I believe....

at the time Mr Armstrong won his trophies it was fair and square too.... only later we learned. Just saying
Nah.... There was lots of talk and suspicion of doping during the LA days towards LA. Nobody believed him being clean. At least GT has ridden for many years, proved his level of fitness throughout the years, and probably only won, because Froome and Dumo were tired from the Giro. Nothing pas normal about GTs victory.
Mean except being on sky? Except all the abnormal racer progression over the years. In the history of suspicion they are probably between Lance and Berzin...

Yeh, no, sorry you can't rewrite revisionist history, bud.

Literally hundreds of thousands, into the millions of people also defended Lance during the noughties saying the same thing. Think about the number of yellow wristbands out there.

F Lance, but no one is listening to you rewrite history with 20/20 hindsight vision.
Boy that’s the 100s of thousands who either had no clue or were just “fan blind”... still surprised that here, where I though people had a relatively good understanding of cycling... we keep seeing this blind attitude.

Well losing the Stanley cup... is kind of virtually impossible if I am correct last time i saw it. It was in the 90cm tall and should weight 15 to 20kg... tough to forget it :p

As an American I have to admit that we have a soft spot for the idea that good old hard work and grit can overcome less morally appealing strategies, however, we often employ the later out of a default to realism that we later justify. Lance fits this perfectly.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

Nice to see Canyon got out the rattle cans. That is, quite frankly, terrible.

The Boras aren't helping.
