How can you bet on anyone but Dumoulin for the TT?
The few people that could match him in flat/rolling TT pace AND climbing strength (Froome, Thomas) aren’t racing.
Castroviejo or Moscon to medal. Roglic would have a good shot but isn’t doing the TT because of his crash.

Nibali broke his back in the Tour, remember. He hasn't been saving himself, he's been desperately trying to recover sufficiently in time to perform, unfortunatelyJugi wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 6:50 pmI wouldn’t discount any of those guys. Roglic and Alaphilippe seem to be on an upward trajectory. Kwiato and Nibali seem like they have been saving themselves and preparing for the worlds during the latter part of the season (if not for the whole season in Nibali’s case).
But Viviani said 'Nibali is ready' with a knowing:
I’d love to be proven wrong, but I’m guessing Dennis will ship a minute to Dumoulin between the start of the climb and the end of the TT.bilwit wrote:Dennis says hello..LeDuke wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 9:15 pmHow can you bet on anyone but Dumoulin for the TT?

Dennis is in excellent form, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a very close fight between D & D.
Terpstra is only there for the TTT. Course is way to hard for him, he isn't a climber but a classics guy.
Dutch team: Dumoulin, Poels, Mollema (most likely the 3 leaders/protected riders), Kruijswijk, Kelderman, Oomen, Tolhoek, Weening.
Here's what the bookies say. A few days old though. https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/raci ... uck-394765
Not really- it’s what cyclingweekly says the bookies say (please don’t quote that publication again)kbbpll wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 7:37 pmHere's what the bookies say. A few days old though. https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/raci ... uck-394765
Odds as of today:
Tom Dumoulin gave all his power and weight data (except for the TT’s) to Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad to analyse and report:

Interesting fact is that the Giro was harder then the Tour.
It’s all in Dutch but Google translate can help you with that. For the Graphic:
Aantal klimmen = Amount of climbs
Klim kilometers = Amount of km’s climbed
Gemiddelde wattage op belangrijke klimmen = Average wattage on important climbs
..En in de laatste klim = And in the final climb
Incase you don't want to read the article but only want to see the graphic:
