Makes me wonder, a lot of riders came out of this stage without losing time, but how many might notice the effects of several crashes in the upcoming stages?
Landa seemed to be in a lot of pain while riding for example.

Amazing picture. I wonder what tire Sky used during the stage. Those seem to be something else than contis.

Porte will be extra disappointed if this news is real:
“His collarbone isn’t broken. There are no broken bones. He’s been to hospital in Cambrai and is now on his way to Annecy. His bag is waiting for him there.”

Even so, it was enough to not be able to get back on the bike either way

Is it time to start the Team Sky/Froome procession to Paris now?

Not sure about Sky. Movistar looked stronger to me except they stayed more in the background + with the exception of Landa they all stayed upright. The way Quintana rode today impressed me.

it's more or less official by now:

a press conference is said to be scheduled for tomorrow - with Jim Ochowicz and CCC owner Dariusz Miłek

This great news for the team and all of those employed by it, not just the riders. I only hope that they tone down the all orange look. I wonder if they'll remain on BMC bikes?

Hasn't Porte already said he's going to Trek anyway?

It's been reported as such but the riders and teams are prohibited from announcing rider movements until Aug 1st as per UCI regulations. Dumb rule, but that's what it is.

Sky crash everyone waits, everyone crashes Sky winds it on....

Bardet punctured and stopped again to change his bike. Bora drilling on the following 2-3 sectors. Sky began driving on the front after Bardet rejoined the group. then after that it´s race ON. no waiting
