First 4 gorge ride since the leg break.
New bike helps with setting some pbs but doesn't make it hurt less. Cold wet and cramping at the end.

Bobbo was nice in the rain today

It was nice... I just sucked.. Different muscles taking turns cramping.. My left right imbalance due to my injury shows up more when cold.

Ww was down yesterday so didn't get a chance to post these. First ride in the morning (weekday) in quite a few months and also the first time I made it to the lookout point above the Hollywood sign (it requires hiking it a few feet in the dirt. Was definitely worth it as the combination of the vantage point and low fog made it feel like I was looking out an airplane:

Was cut off by an impatient driver and t-boned a VW @ 20mph. My trusty Parlee Z5 is dead, but at least she did a number on the car in the process.

This is now my second vehicle/bicycle collision so I hope I've paid my dues for awhile!

Sometimes you take the little farm access track off the normal road and end up wondering what the hell you were thinking. Other times you get a little piece of paradise like this;



(But was it steep as *f##k* getting back up to the normal roads I hear you ask... Yes. Yes it was )

That lead on to a dead end, single lane balcony road that accesses a little hillside town and is without doubt the most incredible bit of tarmac I've ever seen;
