Lacoon's original composition is much better. The position of the rider perfectly hits the rule of thirds, while the blue space balances the image and creates the impression of scale and depth. Cropping so the rider is central makes the surroundings look small and the image cluttered.

Google photos decided to pano my weekend ride shots and cut off the bottom of the bike. Doesn't look too bad. Windy as f***.. Bike nearly blew over and riding back through the city was a bit scary with the deep wheels.
