Nice Mopho. Particularly liking that the rider is a big part of the shot, especially given the subject of this forum. Also CBRE's kit looks quite different that what they have here...

Is that a Swiss version of a gravel road? Bloody hell, I'd take that over what passes for tarmac hereabouts.

Rather surprising result today given fat boy don't climb but the pace was pretty pedestrian for the first 35km and then got rolled to the line by Andy. Full credit the guy knows how to hide and has a mean kick. ImageImageImage

@Nefarious: what do you guys do... take turns standing on the #1 Podium spot so that you all get a “first place” photo? Like being a school kid in America, where everyone’s a winner! Looks cooler than what I imagine Australia to be like, even in winter. Well done on the win!

So you’re #1 overall for the series. That’s awesome. Definitely a cake is in order here. :)

Nefarious, even with the beard you look about 20 years younger than competitors. Top step of the genetics podium.

Right here, right now... in the valley east of Seattle

True story...Ok, 10 miles down the road I’m cruising through a kind of rural town and on the other side of the street is this chick, straddling her bike, hands behind her back in handcuffs. Two cop cars, lights flashing, and two officers standing next to her. No shit. If they don’t cart her off I’m circling back. My kind of girl.

Pretty sure they’re carting her off however. She was riding 1x.

Just thought this beautiful vista was thread worthy. Not quite Basilic standards... but quite scenic nonetheless...

Ok, so it’s not Switzerland, but Swiss people hang out here... I think...
Image

Buck Island, Skykomish River... excellent steelhead and salmon fishing. Just spoke with a guy walking down with his fishing rod. Says he’ll have an 8-10 pounder before the evenings out...
Image

Image

Fresh corn... coming up fast... Cascade Mountains in the backdrop...

Taking a natural break before the last significant climb of the day...

We're having a "heatwave" in Ireland. It's 26-28 deg!
