@basilic: are most of these rides you post pictures of just out your back door, as in you just get on your bike, head out the door, and say “bye, hopefully I’ll be back in time for dinner”. Or do you take little weekend excursions to your favorites? Switzerland is such a fantastic place for riding.

Nice! What’s your setup when you do your CC touring? You must have at least mimimal bags etc, for change of clothes etc. Pic of your CC touring setup would be awesome.

here you go. It's a folder built by Rob English (highly recommended builder, but you knew that). It fits into a samsonite suitcase when you need to fly with it. Despite the 451 wheels, it feels just like my standard road bike when riding, only a bit of spring in the seatpost, which is actually nice. The seatpost bag is custom, very stable, and I also have a frame bag if I need to carry more stuff (eg, trip with my wife). As it is, I keep a change of off-the-bike clothing, sandals, toiletries and the repair kit in the seatpost bag, and raingear, food, map in the handlebar bag.
(before I used a Revelate-style saddle bag on a standard frame, which also works, a bit more noticeable)

Been a long day and at first glance, it looked to me as if you are riding across a Persian rug.

Jaw dropping, gobsmacked amazement. I stared at that bike on Rob's website many times. Congratulations!
I should have said this 100 times already- thank you for sharing your beautiful photos.
