We were 50 approx. We started from the border at Sumas and the trip was then 150km. Actually pretty easy as the Mt Baker is only 1500m and the grade is pretty much even with 4-5% I think. Splendid ride!! I suppose I will do it again but from home next time for a day trip with 250km. Really a stunning ride to the top! Really nice there!
Niiice. We used to always hit The Beer Shrine on the way home from Baker. Proper wood pizza ovens and great beer selection. I believe it’s North Fork Brewery now tho.

Nice photos Tony. I love climbing the 542 up to Artist's Point. I did a couple of repeats from Glacier last week. Getting ready for a trip to the Alps. It's such a pretty climb once Shuksan comes into view.

Cal, you've never done this climb?

Nope, just driven up years and years ago. But now I’m inspired. This week...
Have you been up Hurricane Ridge yet this year?

Are these as prevalent in your city as they are in Seattle?...

My guess would be Uhlrich, Armstrong, and Jalabert.

Wasn't a good choice to ride to St. Moritz today... 3 weeks only sunshine. But just today it has to rain... ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
