- which model has the better screen
Though I've only owned one of each, the contrast on the Bolt screen was far better than on the full size ELEMNT.

IMO, bolt strikes a better balance between functionalities, form, and cost than the full size version.

it's kind of funny, Garmin has those super high resolution touch screens while the Bolt has 1990's GameBoy 8-bit resolution yet practically and functionally, you're not really left wanting or needing any more

This is spot on, less is more in some respects.

Bolt user for a year and half now... I've never looked down at the screen and thought that I wished it was in color. It does everything I need, works reliably.

Is the data on the bolt easy to read like on the elemnt? I would not use 9 data fields all the time.
The fields that are important for me and I want to see all the time are;
- cadans
- power
- speed
- hearth rate

Additional:
- hours of training time
- meters of climbing
- total distance

The bolt is easier to read than the elemnt IMO, the display is far crisper and has a higher contrast, so it's easier to read, especially in direct sunlight.

Just leave backlight on, IIRC it hurt battery life too much

Anyone using an out-front mount (i.e. direct to stem) with a Most Tiger ultra aero 1k stem? Something other than the iTiger?

F3 Form? Other? Looking for alternatives and feedback...

I'm using the F3 mount and am really happy with it. A bit fiddly to setup, but it's a nice piece of kit. Only think I don't like is too many small bits to lose !

I have my arms as low as they can go so the upper face is almost level with the stem.

Was using a Tilquist mount prior to this, but recently chnaged stems, so couldn't use it anymore.

Any one have recent suggestions for replacing the original Element Bolt (out-front) mount? It took me a while to figure out it was causing a rattle. I've tried the cool Stelvio mount but it doesn't work well with Fizik stems, and in particular if it's the -17 one. Looks like the answer is a K-edge, I have the cheap one on my winter bike and it's been fine so far.
