The Rouleur Classic expo is on in London ...its over 3 days Thursday was the TDF day yesterday was the Giro day and today is the Vuelta day
The cost for tickets is £100 ,£50,£50
This whole event reeks of snobbery and elitism IMO.
The cost of tickets is stupid and I hate this F%%king vibe.
Cycling should be about the people, entrance fees should be lower £20 max .
I hate this stuck up vibe of superiority. D Millar makes the perfect guest a pretentious tw$T

What do you mean not like me ,,,,, oh people who ride bikes and have been interested and followed pro cycling etc and have been to many pro races including the tour de France for a number of years among many races . Plus the fact I have ridden most of the cols in France and other parts of Europe

So who exactly is this exhibition aimed at then ?

So you do class yourself as a snobbish, elitist, stuck up, superior, pretentious twat?

Seems an odd sort of self-image to have, but to each their own! :beerchug:

No I class myself as a cycling fan and keen rider who thinks its a rip off and taking the pi££.

You want shows costing so much that it excludes a lot of die hard fans ? The ground roots of cycling gets taking over by the likes of fat Colnago riders who took up cycling because they are crap at golf .

If you were a dad and wanted to take your 2 sons to this show on Thursday it would cost you £300 plus expenses...
Your ok that?
Its a fu%%ing rip off/ scam not at all aimed at real bike riders but aimed at the fat weekend wannabe's who fall for every piece of commercial sh%T marketed at them and pretentious salesmen like Millar at "word" ,,,,enjoy your di2 and disc wheels and xxxxl rapha clothes and watch cycling become a sport that only the rich will enjoy. How long before they charge to get on a mountain at a GT? How long before TV subs start to cost stupid money ? etc

Money talks ....

Did you talk to them about this at all?

SInce the big launch plus press and dealer demos in Spain in April it's been total radio silence on the Uno front. Was wondering if they'd run into some problems with manufacturing or something...

So don't go. There are loads of cheaper cycling shows around.

Its a fu%%ing rip off/ scam not at all aimed at real bike riders but aimed at the fat weekend wannabe's who fall for every piece of commercial sh%T marketed at them and pretentious salesmen like Millar at "word"

So like I said, the show is aimed at people who aren't like you, therefore you hate it. Well guess what cupcake, the world doesn't revolve around you. There are other people in it, and some of them like to look at Colnagos, DI2 and Rapha clothes, and some of them even want to listen to David Millar and Ned Boulting talk.

So again, why so angry that a show you don't even want to go to has tickets too expensive for you? :noidea:

...watch cycling become a sport that only the rich will enjoy. How long before they charge to get on a mountain at a GT? How long before TV subs start to cost stupid money ? etc.

Calm down dear, it's only one show. I'd be amazed if it was influential enough to have Christian Prudhomme ripping up 100s of years of tradition.

If xena gets angry like this over the price of ticket to a show he does not want to go to, i would hate to see the appotpletic rage he might have over something that actually mattered.
