A very nice cyclist from Florida sent me the Di2 hatch cover for the new VENGE and I was able tto model a Varia mount that replaces the hatch itself.

Hi, thanks for sharing, is this kind of mounts removable without removing the seat tube ?

@IanisCercariolo, I have not tried, but likely it isn't possible because nylon is very flexible thin but gets stiffer the thicker it is and this is right on the edge of too stiff at the thickness the band section is.

I am easily able to install/remove the rear clamp style mount without removing the seat post using the mounts WheresWaldo designed for our Scott Solace/Contessa Solace bikes.

Hi all,

Great thread and it is really interesting to see how these nifty little parts have evolved over the years :D

I wonder if the more knowledgeable hive mind here can help me to source a better value part than what I have found?

Basically Bontrager Aeolus saddle mount to GoPro mount for the attachment (and angle adjustment) of rear lights.

Something like this but not £30+ ideally. Or is this my only option? Its a big jump up in price from the £4 Bontrager part in the second picture which has the disadvantage of fitting their own lights only and not having any angle adjustment. Maybe a tidy, good value rail mount is the workaround for better value?
