Does Porte usually ride such a big TT bike? I assume it has something to do with his bar setup preferences. ?

I don't think that frame actually is that big, it just appears so due to the bizarrely high top tube. Look at the cutout at the front of the top tube where you can see the height of the head tube which gives an idea of the true frame size.

Why has cycling gone from flamboyant, loud, bright colors to Gothic black? An irony, or is it karma? Wearing dark colors at dusk doesn't sound safe unless trying to escape from a cycling predator that is on the loose. For cycling, louder is better.

Pretty disappointed in the lack of creativity and design for the Cannondale-Garmin team bikes. I get that green is Cannondale's color, but you would think they would revamp it at least a little bit considering it's an entirely new team, new sponsorship, etc., rather than just use their standard "team" paint that is found in their normal product lineup. The current stock paint/graphics offerings on Cannondale's road line is pretty blah/half-assed already, this seems like it would have been a good opportunity to breathe some life into it.
