I did not check measurements on the samples I was given (the jerseys weren't my size, they sent over Medium and Large sizes), but the shorts fit surprisingly well (Small, whereas I normally wear a Medium).

However: I will be at InterBike in a few days, and I'll take measurements off of Jakroo's floor samples. You still have a lot of time to order, so let me see what measurements I can take on your behalf, and wait a few days. :)

Thanks, prendrefeu!
I think I'm settled on S standard jersey, but bib chart really puzzled me. I mean with this kind of ratio between hip and waist bibs look more suitable to bodybuilders. Maybe they measured cuff at the thickest point of thighs, not at the gripper?
BTW, I've found your measurements from 2009 (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=52608&start=180#p587566) and it is pretty close to what I am (176 cm / 67 kg), so unless you lost some serious weight, I might go with the same size bibs as you do.

Prendrefeu, could you or anyone here shed some light on the sizing compared to the old WW jersey and bibs (from Louis Garneau)? I have an M in both and they're a wee bit tight. I am wary of these sizing charts - having tried to measure myself several times and ending up ordering something that didn't fit. I wear an L Assos jersey (fits to a T) and an S Rapha (tight, but their M is too baggy and too long).

I have written jakroo, am waiting for their answer.

Thanks for all the work you've put into this. The design is very nice.

@slyboots

:oops: Oh how I wish I was still at that weight. *sigh*. I'm now hovering in the 68-69kg range. I'll blame stress and increased work levels. ;)

I think the most important factor on the bibs is actually the inseam length. The material on the legs and cuffs is very comfortable, stretches nicely, and fits well. Normally I wear a Medium (Capo "Super Corsa" level, Castelli Aero, Voler, etc:.) but ended up choosing a small. In the sample kit I received a small bib and it fit really well. When I measured the inseam length, it verified that I would maintain my tan line. :lol:

@BruceCarenvale

Unfortunately I don't know how they compare to Louis Garneau. Hopefully someone else has made that comparison!
If no one else says anything, I *will* be at InterBike in two days and I can take measurements between the two brands in between my schedule of meetings. If I can't get the measurements in on Wednesday, I'll try to get them Thursday or Friday... I'll be there all week. :(

Unfortunately Jakroo won't ship internationally with USPS and since they are only using courier, customs, and fedex's custom expenses will add at least 80$ to the price. So unless some good fella overseas can offer to ship me 2 kits (we are 2 from Ireland) with usps I am afraid I won't be ordering :(

Astranoc, I might consider it. Send me a PM and we'll see how it can be worked out. I happen to be meeting the Jakroo rep while at Interbike anyway, it's on my schedule for Wednesday, so I'll be sure to ask about someone-paying from an international address and shipping-to a US address.
This may also be a solution if there are other pairs (or multiple) orders that are relatively close to each other and the order isn't toooo big. I want to be able to stuff it into a single flat-rate package.

You and the other person, I'm guessing, are near enough each other that if I send it to one address you two can figure out local distribution?

It looks like it allows to choose different countries for billing and shipping addresses, so it should be possible to use a relay service, because FedEx delivery is not an option for Russia as well due to outrageous brokerage fees they charge.

:lol: (laughing at myself and this situation) .... hmmm... so USPS (normal post) does not have additional fees?

What other countries - if anyone else is reading this - are affected by FedEx? Ireland, Russia, where else?
In other words, how many persons and countries may I potentially be looking at if I go this route for you?
Example: shipping your order to me = $20 and my shipping to Russia is looking at $23 (approx)... that will be cheaper than the brokerage fees?

I'm hoping to make this easiest for everyone that is affected by this. Sorry that some of you have to deal with this sort of thing. :(

The shipping fee to Stockholm is $12 according to my OC.

@prendrefeu I am the other person in Ireland who will order with Astranoc if we can sort shipping. A single address would be fine with me. We are relatively close to each other.

Yes, it will, but don't worry, I usually handle this kind of orders via Shipito, so I'm fine if Jakroo ships my stuff to a US address I'll put in the order. I think you go through enough trouble already to make you a mail relay as well.
Thanks anyway!

I guess Lance really was right. USPS is the best way to ship, whether around the block or around the world. 8)

I'm also told that there is no shipping option available to me in the Czech Republic, which is of course strange. Never any problem to have anything shipped here either by USPS, FedEx, or anyone else either.

I sent a email to Jakroo and hope to get a response once they are home from Vegas.

I tried to put an order today, but I was unable to get a quote for shipping to Bulgaria. I just sent an email to Jakroo, so fingers crossed they will add the destination to their online shop.

Just to chip in, Jersey wasn't in the system either but I emailed them and within a couple of hours they had updated their system and it worked. So I'm confident that when they are back to full staff the problems with the more obscure countries will be sorted out.
