Assuming my scales are correct that is.wooger wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 5:14 pm9kg seems ultra weighty for a small frame size, and I can't believe their top end carbon frame is *that* heavy. What wheels, bar/stem, saddle do you have?Dannnnn wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 8:53 amI'm now on the Ribble Endurance SL
It's very racey (I'm on a small frame slammed stem) which makes it very aggressive (normally on a 54cm tarmac - the seller told me the ribble was a med but it's actually small)
The bike is pretty good, takes 28mm tyres and full mudguards, but it's not light.
My set-up weighs 9kg bang on (it's now Ultegra R8x Di2)
S-Works Tarmac SL7 stem (100mm), 42cm Aerofly 2 Bars with Supacaz tape, S-Works Power Saddle, VEL 38/50 wheelset (quoted 1590g).
Dura ace 140/160mm rotors and 28mm GP4seasons.
I do have the PDW mudguards fitted which are claimed around 450g, so that won't be helping.
The seatpost is pretty heavy, and the headset bearings and compression ring are big and heavy as well.
