If Pog has that kind of stage 17 again, then why not? He podium the Tour last year after working full blown for Pog.
A long shot of course but we don’t know 1. How Jonas / Remco / Primoz recovers and 2. If Tadej has two consecutive gt in him. The 1 will affect 2 and vice versa. And 3 if Pog blows in any fashion do they go full support for plan b and c. Unlikely obviously.
I would put Adam above say Enric Mas and that kind of other mountain goats. They seem less consistent.

yes, Yates does seem a lot more consistent, but with 4 big names and lijely someone from ineos, that's already 5 guys for 3 podium spots. and not only UAE can play 2nd leader card - Bora has Hindley for instance.

Then it's a good thing for him he's on a different team this year and won't have to do that again. Oh wait, no, I must be thinking of someone else...

Almeida rode that climb very intelligently. He seemed to be trying to keep his spot in GC but also not go against his team leader. In the end it worked out perfect for UAE. Have to assume Almeida has the better TT, so looks good for him overall, but hats off to him for a smart ride.

Anyone knows whats the deal with Wiggins bankruptcy? Apparently he owes over 300k gbp to the HM revenue office and more to other parties totaling over a million quid. He doesn’t look like the type of person to lavish or splash and his contract with Sky was never cheap in the first place.

Some strange riding by Almeida on stage 6 (or 5, can't remember), where he dragged other GC riders back to Yates before dropping him. I wonder what the atmosphere was like on the bus afterwards.

He didn't drag anyone back? He sat at the rear of the fragmented chasing group then when he went for it he caught and immediately dropped the leading chasers.

Here at 1.1k to go where he accelerates into the gap instead of sitting on the wheel. Seemed strange from a gc pov, evenif it ultimately worked out.

It did work out. He dragged Skjelmose (no longer a threat) back to Bernal, then dropped Bernal and dragged Yates (who had been making zero progress on his own) further in front.
Almeida is so clearly stronger than "new Tour de France number one favourite" Yates in this race it's not even funny - yet he's still happy to work for him. If there was any friction on the team bus afterwards then precisely none of it is his fault!

guess Yates wasnt so bad eh. some impressive rides there. Yates, Almeida, Riccotello or whatever his name is, and Lenny Martinez stand out.
