Favorite race day Aerosuit
Searched and didn't see anything. I'm looking for an Aerosuit for racing this year. The Spatzwear Aerosuit just came across my feed and I'm considering grabbing one. Sizing is kinda interesting with L being as big as they go but I assume the quality is good considering their other products (there are no reviews I can find). Any others Aerosuits that people love?

For what type of racing? Do you want a full speedsuit with no pockets? Do you want a roadsuit with pockets to hold gels, an extra bottle, etc? Speedsuits are very rider-specific.
My team uses Castelli San Remo RCs for mass-start racing.
Appreciate the reply. Let's go roadsuit with pockets for omniums and road races. I'm honestly having a little trouble following the Castelli line between tri, TT, and road bike suits. I need to dig in more because there are some good options from Castelli.

My team uses Louis Garneau. I don't have anything bad to say about them. Still maintains 3 pockets on the back so they're good for longer races.

I just ordered the Castelli 4.x speed suit. I like the low collar, lack of pockets, and race number panel. I'm not stoked on the "extra long legs" but maybe on my very long legs they won't be goofy-long (I find the long shorts, tall socks look so dorky). I'm always between M&L, so hopefully their advice to size up is correct.
Ended up going Assos Houdini RS Aero Roadsuit. Went L though the recommendation said Medium, hopefully it fits well (I'm 5'11, 190, muscular build, long limbs, no torso).

I quickly limited my search to long sleeve suits, assuming that for a non-arm shaver of even light-moderate hairiness, it would be a significant aero improvement. I'm hoping wicking fabric and keeping the sun off my arms will make heat a non-issue. Your thoughts on going short sleeve? There sure are a lot more short sleeve options...Tpduke112 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 9:36 pmEnded up going Assos Houdini RS Aero Roadsuit. I never even considered long sleeve for these summer races in the south.Lelandjt wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 1:28 amI quickly limited my search to long sleeve suits, assuming that for a non-arm shaver of even light-moderate hairiness, it would be a significant aero improvement. I'm planning to wear it in Hawaii, but our perceived heat comes more from the sun than from actual air temperature or humidity. Both of those are only moderate.Tpduke112 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 1:38 amI never even considered long sleeve for these summer races in the south.Lelandjt wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 1:28 amI quickly limited my search to long sleeve suits, assuming that for a non-arm shaver of even light-moderate hairiness, it would be a significant aero improvement. The zipper is 2-way to help with nature stops.
Personally I'd go Castelli or Assos... Spatz has always rubbed me the wrong way with their "warranty", was an absolute nightmare to the point where I stopped recommending them to customers.

I'm going Rule 28 this year for Road bike TT and have an encapsulator (endura D2Z) for TT bike TTs. The rule 28 stuff is good. I have tested it in the wind tunnel
