Oakley Hydras, I believe; obviously a riff on the classic "Razor Blades" of my youth (for those old enough to remember those!).

Actually, upon closer inspection, I believe those are Oakley 'Resistor' youth fit sunglasses, which I gather is sort of a smaller mashup of the Sutro and Razor Blade, etc.!

I'm looking for a new pair of oakleys. I've put a few of them on to try and Jawbreakers seem to have by far the best retention. They really don't move no matter what I do.
I don't LOVE their look (I like more modern / simple styling. Jawbreakers are a little too... I dunno.. Too many scoops and curves) but if I can't find anything that works well, I might settle as they at least feel amazing while wearing.

Sutro had the worst retention (actually owned this one but would have to adjust every 5 mins as they slide down my nose) and Sutro S was somewhere in the middle.

What are some Oakley models that you think stay on your head better? Or is this totally personal?

EDIT: haha I'm so sorry. I jumped in this thread and posted my own question 100% assuming this was a general Oakley thread. My brain is turning into soup!

For some reason I also have the sliding issue with the Sutro Lite (Sweep), but not with the standard Sutro.

I have the same issue with Jawbreakers sitting really good and Sutro just sliding about.
Both Kato and Radar EV has great retention. I haven't tried any other modern model then those four though.

standard sutro has no rubber on the inside of the arms and doesn't stay in place for me as well. The sutro lite has rubberized arms for better grip and that makes a difference in my experience.
I have a weak spot for cycling glasses and bought way to many of them, but i'm actually only wearing the sutro lite and sweep. Best look, quality and feel.

Did Oakley discontinued the EV Zero Path lenses?

That particular model has integrated arms so the lense is not replaceable. Its too bad cause I really like them and have a pair and the arms are somewhat flismy so I took an old pair of M Frames and retrofitted the photochromic lense into it. Works great.

I love the Oakley brand, and am a collector. I have never understood Sutro though. It's flat, big, unaerodynamic and lacks decent arm rubbers. I much prefer the smaller, sleeker models. Having said that: I also own a Kato. Because ridiculous.

I use the Oakley Kato X for cycling and running. No problems with them sliding off my face. However, I'm skeptical of placing them on my helmet when not in use. Some reviewers say there was separation from temple, hinge, and lens. However, when I wear them it's like they're not even there.
