Glued on a S-works Turbo Allround 3 in 26mm on Bora One AC3 for the first time today. Before I used mainly 25s and a couple 23s and every time as soon as the tyre went on, it was perfectlyly centered. Never had to actually center. This time once the 26 one went on it looked heavily crooked to one side - a lot of base tape visible. After close to a minute adjusting and getting nowhere I pumped it up. Somewhat expectedly, it became perfectly centered once inflated. Anyone else with a similar experience? I wonder if it's just the specific tyre structure or that 1mm made a big difference on the 24.2mm wide wheel. Either way, it was just a slight intrigue and the process was painless.

Be curious to see how the S-works does.
Good to hear that the tire self-centered. How wide is it when inflated?

Sorry, I don't have any measuring tool for that. I think tubulars claimed widths are usually quite accurate unlike clinchers.

Bought 5 Veloflex ProTour 28mm. Some parts of the seam is not centered. Will the tire wobble / not centered when mounted?

No that just looks like the tape is a bit skewed, the tyre underneath is centered

I have measured the seam to tread distance and the seam is definitely skewed. Tried to mount dry on my Bora One DB rim and it seems fine. Yes, decided to mount it anyway and it's fine. Didn't perfectly centered but it's ok. New tub makes my wheel looks 10times better
