I'm looking at getting a wheelset with Nonplus hubs but can't find any reviews or useful information on them - specifically thinking of durability, maintenance, and any issues that users have run into.
Does anyone here have experience with them?

I exchanged PMs with Christian Jenny (the owner) like 8-10 months ago. He said they hoped to be able to sell them to customers in the US “soon”. Something about liability insurance. Every time I check them out on R2, though, I can’t buy them.
Might have to go the Extralite route.

Nonplus has one more waterproof gasket than TR01. Nonplus uses enduro bearings, while TR01 uses non-marked ceramic bearings.

Also looking to build my next set of wheels with these hubs from wheelsfar. From what I can tell and what I've read, they're basically the same as Tactic TR01 hubs, but possibly better? Either way they seem to be well engineered and you can get a wheelset built up there for around $1700 with the best bearings they offer (Enduro Zero bearings). The hubs themselves are 1200 Euros to buy so it seems like a great deal.
I'm more inclinced to this option than carbon spokes as I believe they'll offer more compliance, a more reliable hub and will be just as light.

From all I can tell and have read I will go with NonPlus hubs. I'm not to keen on any noises and have read multiple reviews about extralite hubs making noises after a while + if Tom Pidcock rides NonPlus on his XC and the hubs are good enough to be sold with Princeton Wheels + they are the lightest hubs available? take my money.
Also I had the same thoughts: carbon or steel spokes and will go the traditional route. I dont need the stiffest wheels and the weight I'm saving on spokes I have to add with rim tape that way so Alpina Hyperlites it is

Has a different weather seal too.
NonPlus have been more robust than my Tactics.

really nice one congrats! Just about to order a similar setup, but one question: what made you chose the Enduro Zero bearrings? I didnt see them as an option - would you say it's a worthy upgrade?

Those bearings were the default (and only) option, so wasn't left with much choice!Schoenrock wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 2:15 pmreally nice one congrats!
