Looking to purchase a new front wheel for the TT rig. Not at all worried about cross wind stability. If it is bad enough I have to switch wheels, I have other wheels. Only criterial are 1) I really don't want to spend much more than $1,000USD on a single wheel 2) At least 28mm wide

Current thoughts:

Aero Coach Titan
Newman Streem TT
Reynolds Black Label 80
Elite Tri Spoke
Elite 82mm (could also invest in cockpit parts if I went this route)

In an ideal world, some one would make a 100mm deep wheel with 15-18 aero carbon spokes. I'd even be interested if one of the Chinese OEMs would make an 80 or 88mm wheel with a 20 carbon spoke set up.

My set up for reference. Good enough for 29mph average over 21 miles while having a day job as a steel mill process engineer.

Id say a tri spoke of some kind, carbon spokes aren't at that kind of maturity yet.

Or get your hands on a rim, some aerolite II spokes and see if the t-head is big enough to safely fit in this hub

I good tri-spoke is only a tiny bit slower at 0deg yaw than a skinny 100mm deep wheel and measurably faster >5deg.

Any suggestions? Not too familiar with tri spokes.

And this is why I ask. Never even heard of ERE but this is now my leading contender.

Regular spoked wheel is nice too because i can throw it on the front of my road bike for Merckx TTs too. Tri spoke is a no go there.

Parcours Chrono Max

US$800
83.6mm
22.5mm internal
32mm external
805g

https://www.parcours.cc/collections/tri ... chrono-max

Reserve has a 99mm front wheel, but they only sell it paired with their disc rear. It is extremely wide with 25mm internal and 38mm external width so maybe not the most flexible option.

Unless you're racing, why not disc front?

That one is clearly a knockoff of Princeton. Why don't they just make their own designs?

Still waiting for a 85-100mm deep trispoke
