Farsports do zero aero development or testing.

Their profiles are just ok, good for 28mm, okayish for 30mm (measured, not labeled).

I was initially thinking of Farsports, as I had some rim brake wheels of theirs that were quite good. I'm not sure of the rim profiles though, so I'm undecided as to whether there is a true aero benefit to their wheels. Is there any testing anyone is aware of? This is especially in relation to the 30mm width at the "brake track", obviously thinner than Newmen, Duke and Roval of course.
Having Farsport Hypers 24int/30ext, and Newman Alround 49/54, I cannot tell any diferance in speed. Both with 28c tyres. Not everyone agrees with 105 rule. If there is a diferance, is most likely marginal, and you cannot feel that. Hypers do feel more stable in cross wind, although Newmans are good as well.

Rim finishing of my friend's Farsports EVO C6 is quite poor. There are lots of sanding marks/scratches. You definitely get what you pay for.

Maybe is a one-off (a seperate case). I have several wheels, and all with perfect finish. And have never heard from someone from Farsport thread, that they would receive poorly painted/finished product.

Yes, but it's real. Do you have the latest EVO C6? Just be prepared if you're going to buy it.

No, but the last EVO4 and few from Wheelsfar. But many have already the New EVO and nobody reported any issue. So as said. this one is obviously an exception.

Yep, probably isolated case.

Copied from Farsports thread and the sanding marks look like the same on my friend's EVO C6.

Enjoy the scratches. They are unique and not found in some other matt rims like Metron 45 SL and Speed 42/57. Again, probably isolated cases.

Have you looked at the Ascent Polaris 42 (1300g) or 56 (1400g), or even asking them for a 42/56 mix? 23mm internal, good value. Share your secret on Reserve discounts, are they giving out discount codes?
Good point. I thought of them before, was a bit put off by the graphics then forgot about them.

I have no Reserve discount code! But if someone does, feel free to chime in...

But do you expect this to be an issue in actual use?

It's alright. Not my problem. If you don't want scratchy rim surface, skip this wheel.
Speaking of low weight, yes it is even lighter than Metron 45 SL but the acceleration is still inferior. There must be something to do with the hub/spoke/rim combination.

No, not at all. In fact, this wheelset works as intended. Very efficient at higher speed, not so good at climbing, as expected. My friend set his fast records on flat segments. For the money, the striaght line top speed performance is very very good.

btw, the freehub sealing is just average. Take (more) care after using in heavy rain.

Have a feeling they just changed the graphics. I'm with you on that, they weren't great.
