Well, I am certain that is what I ordered. I know that with this latest build I asked Emma specifically for the 5mm spoke and no holes in rimbed. She confirmed both with the engineering dept before issuing a PI.
At least that is what is on my PI from Emma. Im guessing I'll have these here (US) before the end of the month, so I'll know for certain when I open the box.
I've only been buying from FS for a few years, so my experience is personally limited to around (6) built wheel sets and another 6 rims...but so far what they put on the PI is exactly what has arrived. Hopefully that continues.
There is a 'version' of the 270 with a machined slot to insert wider spokes through if the 5mm spokes come in a regular non-t-head version. Otherwise they can just build them with the same hubs as no6
just remembered I saw something similar to the no6 hub on 9VELO and sure enough, these are the same hubs as no6, but with round holes
inferring from this, the 5mm spokes are likely t-head only and honestly, there's no real reason to not do that. Could be he gets this hub, or there could be another version of the 270 for t-head spokes

Given that the basics of these hubs is fairly similar and weight is within 10-15g from set to set, Im not terribly concerned with which set of hubs arrives. She did specifically say that these were not going to be the t-head spoke and related hub, but rather the 270 with the 5mm spoke...so who knows.

Looking forward to seeing your wheels. Probably then on Farsports thread. I am also planning new set from Farsports and am looking for optimal acceleration benefit. Even if this time with deeper 50mm rims (just for better looking bike and not aero benefits). Was advised Hypers with DTSwiss hub, as they have 24 carbon spokes, and the additional weight is on the hub, so does not matter to me. But this info with +5mm spokes turns everything on head. This is not how it works, they aren't any heavier, so there isn't any more material. I thought the +5mm spokes are stronger than +3mm onbes, and therefore also stiffer wheels (if the same amount of spokes are on the wheels). I just automaticly assumed as most wheels with wider spokes have less spokes per wheel. And are even labeled as premium wheels on the brand. And normally advertised also stiffer,...
Are these wider (+5mm) spokes usually then narrower as +3mm spokes?
That would then more or less equalized them. Did not think about spoke thickness. Hypers with 20 spokes would then already be a match with S series. And as already said, I do not care for aero. Will probably then try 24 spokes on the rear with DTSwiss hub. But as the wheels will be for main season, there is still time.
So which one, the No6 50/60 or CRW 50/60?
I like the No6 more. Internal 24 (23 is I think optimall), and they are both external 32 mm. Too bad that they are not both 60/60 mm.
On pandapodium they are for 1340 dollar. I know they are OEM but they look better then CRW. Almost like the Elite Drive.

The No6 are basically rebranded Farsport wheels.
I'm by no means a proper expert, but based on what I read I think most people consider the CRW's to have slightly more aero peformance than the Farsports. They do have some issues with bearing longevity (but so has Farsport in the past with their hubs, not sure about the No6 hubs).
But really, the margins between the different wheels won't be huge in terms of performance.
I agree with you that the No6 have the best look.... if only they had a 50/50 like the Farsport S5 evo
