Ugh yea that's definitely worse looking. Can always reach out to Pirelli customer service for a more definite answer. I tried to find unboxing videos but no luck

Going on their Instagram launch video, I would not be too hopeful...
Anyone measure the actual width on a 21mm inner width rim? I have a bike that has tight clerance in the rear triangle; 28-29mm WAM is really the widest I can go and I am curious if I should buy the 28c version of these or stick with the 26c?
Both the 26 and 28 are manufactured to be true to size on 19mm internal rims. On 21mm rims add 1mm for each tire - you might be stuck in between. Not my personal experience but according to Pirelli WAM size chart - no clue as to accuracy. The chart appears on the package for the tire. Also can be seen in this article https://velo.outsideonline.com/road/roa ... -rs-tires/. Also note tire pressure. You might get the 28mm to fit if you run it much lower than the 80psi used for the chart. many run 28mm WAM tubeless 65 - 70 psi without issue.

Bontrager Aeolus RSL 23mm hooked rims, 28c RS blows up to rear 30 mm (5 bar) and front 29,75 mm (4,7 bar).
Needed 2 layers of rim tape to get them to be pumped up with the standard floor or cycplus mini pump. Not difficult to install with the help of one tire lever.

My front is also a little narrower than the rear which is weird because Bontrager does not advertise a different f/r width for the RSL wheels. This really goes against what Pirelli is claiming regarding WAM sizing. That tire should be 32mm WAM on a 23mm internal rim. So on a 24mm internal rim the tire should still be under 33mm WAM. What tire pressure? As per Pirelli I assume at or below 4.5 bar/65psi?

Also spotted the TLR RS on the Team Alpecin bikes in some video of the Singapore Criterium, not sure if they changed sponsors or maybe just for this event but thought they normally ran Vittoria

Correct, it's been misprinted or changed at least twice. The "current" information is shown here: https://www.pirelli.com/tyres/en-gb/bik ... ace-tlr-rs
33.5-34mm on a 24mm rim seems about right on paper, though amusingly my 30-622 P Zero Race TLR RS tires are now 33mm at 73psi on 23mm hookless rims after 4500km. They're supposed to be 31mm iaccording to the size development chart.

Pirelli not exactly making choosing tires size easier. On 25mm internal, the 32 will end up around 35mm - that's pretty fat. And ironically the "mis-print" chart is what the sizing should be - 23 - 25mm internal is or will be the likely width standard on which we will be running with 32mm tires. So what's next for Pirelli? Maybe re-size the tires to correspond with that chart?
