If anyone is interested or hasn't heard, Continental just released their new "Aero 111" tires. They come in two sizes, 26 and 29mm. Limited distribution in the U.S. and Europe.
Introducing the AERO 111 – the next generation in tire performance, developed in collaboration with DT Swiss and Swiss Side. Featuring an innovative and aerodynamically-optimized tread, this tire is engineered to effortlessly cut through the air like never before. The tread's 48 precision-formed, vortex-generating cavities create controlled turbulence, ensuring prolonged airflow attachment to the rim, resulting in reduced aerodynamic drag and improved crosswind stability.
The AERO 111 also incorporates all the winning technologies from the GP5000 TR Family: Black Chili Compound for superior grip and minimal rolling resistance, coupled with the trusted Vectran Breaker for added puncture protection. It’s the ultimate aerodynamic tire – without compromise.
The aero-optimized tread pattern certainly looks different: 48 little cavities are regularly distributed over its surface. These so-called ‘vortex generators’ are the very feature that manage to control the turbulence in the airflow on the surface of the front wheel. Ultimately, this results in a perfected storm that allows for the reduction of drag of the entire wheel tire system.

So TT TR is still faster between -/+10 deg?
From a drag/aero perspective the new tire is faster across the board, so we will need to wait for the BRR test to see how they stack up in terms of rolling resistance. Given how close the new tire is between +/- 10 degrees of yaw, the rolling resistance will matter there. Go vote for it to be reviewed.

In another article it was stated that the construction is between S TR and TT TR. The weight seems to indicate the same.
-/+10deg the drag difference is much less than the RR difference between S TR and TT TR. It's rare you'll be outside that range. Even more so if you're a pro tour rider in a TT.
I already put in my vote this month for a different tire, but I have no doubt the Aero111 will win in the monthly votes category anyway.

It’s basically a Kona tire where speeds will be modulated and wind speeds will be high.
exactly how I described it to my riding buddies when they mentioned it. Rather get a GP5000TT

Its very costly and I would wait some independend testing. They claim relatively high watt saving, nearly unbelievable tbh. But we will see.

From the photos I've seen, looks like Pogi is running the TTs for today's TT. However, the back tire seems to have the model number blacked out.

They arent sponsored by conti or swiss side so probably dont have access yet
They don't have internet access for someone to get a few sets on bike24? They buy a bunch of non-sponsored equipment.
Though I guess they'd need time to test it, too.
