I am building up an >15y old Look frame, and threw some Pirelli Zero Race 4s 28c tires on that I had lying around, and amazingly, they fit almost everywhere. Just at the rear brake bridge, vertical clearance is a bit tight.
What I am looking for are clinchers that are a bit lower than the Pirellis.
Looking at bicyclerollingresistance, Contis (in 25) seem to build pretty high.
There are various options in 26c, e.g. Pirelli and Vittoria.
And of course Challenge’s 27s like the Elite XP PRO.
Does anybody have a tip? BRR only seems to measure TLRs these days, and I am definitely looking for a clincher for this bike.
Thanks!
Widest 26c clinchers?
