Sprint wheels are very competitive, 1355 grams for 60/66mm wheelset is pretty good, price is competitive with CRW Works. Should be very aero too due to low number of spokes.

I just wish these wheels were available in paintless glossy finish
58mm, 24int/30ext, 1.292g, hooked, also glossy finish, for way less money ;)

I had a look but 24iw with 30ow ???? A 28mm tire will go beyond 30mm. So you would need 32mm which makes it again heavier.
I would have preferred that they made them at least 32mm ow 😥
I have them and actually external rim is 30,5mm, and Conti 5000 STR 28c comes also exactly at 30,5mm wide. So it is a perfect fit and transition. Not all agree on the 105% rule. For some spot on (100%) is just as good. But even if it would not be. the differance is really marginal. Probably less than a watt.

I personally will probably go even for 30c tyre on the rear, as I do not want to scratch the rim when I lean my bike to the rear tyre when taking a photo with my bike and beautiful nature where I ride. Or when bumping into my house door when I take my bike outside. :D

FYI they also have wheels with 32mm external. Those are 26mm internal. I have also their Wave series 35/30, but with 24 carbon spokes and their RD360 hub.
Interesting info. I ride now Reserve where 25/35 and I love them compared to my Duke 23/29.6. 28mm comes around 29,6 there too with Pirelli. Somehow they hold speed a lot better.

Btw how are those hubs ?

I'm currently thinking about having my tactic hubs relaced to Duke RX 56/56 which come out at 1330 including rim tape. 25/33

Did some first testing yesterday of my Vonoa Climb and other remarks;
- rimtape is sloppy with a lot of bubbles
- aero valve works really good, easy (also with putting latex milk in) and I think it's nice(r)
- mounted the set with Enve RD 27mm (WAM between 28.2-28.4mm)
- they run quiet and feel quite stiff (compared to a FS set (1180g) 45mm, carbon spokes, Tufo Comptura 28mm)
- more heavy than expected (1103g with Shimano), the XDR body is instead of the promised 19g only 6g(!) lighter. So the whole set just below 1100g :-(
- I like the looks, especially the wider, carbon spokes
- switching body's is a PITA! You really need a special tool for that. Also strange that the outer baring is (almost) completely naked (the cap does not close the whole area like with DT swiss, Zipp or FS
I finally got my wheelset and was rereading the last few pages.

For your second point, are you saying you're using the aero valve and still pushing sealant/latex milk through? That would completely change how I set up the wheels if that's the case.

Just a short info, if anyone still looking for available wheels, bike-discount.de just got both rear and front on stock.. I am not promoting this shop, unfortunately no bonuses from wheels sold from them Image I only saw them and I am sharing this. And no problem to share bike-discount, I am buying from them time after time for years with positive experience, they are legit, albeit sometimes a bit slower to send your package if I am nitpicking :)

Some more weights from todays delivery:

C.38 Vonoa 12x142 (with tape): 604g
C.38 Vonoa 12x142 (with tape): 616g
C.38 Vonoa 12x142 (with tape): 616g
C.38 Vonoa 12x142 (with tape): 588g
C.35 Vonoa 12x100 (without tape): 468g

Why the last one without tape? Because it's not running straight, wobbles from side to side on almost every nipple/ spoke by 1-2mm. The rear wheels are also not perfect, but not as much as the front wheel.

If anyone here has similiar issues (or not), I'd like to know about it. Would be interesting to see if it's just me, or more wide spread.

Can the vonoa wheels be trued from the outside, or from inside the rim?

And to be more specific:
You need a hex key for the nipple, and a seperate spoke key to hold the aluminum fitting, that has the thread on it, of the spoke in place so it won't rotate and brake off.

Did you weigh the tape when you removed it? I'm curious how much can be saved with one layer of Schwalbe tape.

Nothing to save.
There is one layer of tape and it weighs 10g.

Quick 1st ride report on the 60/66 Sprint wheels.
Focusing on x-wind stability and perceived aero capabilities as the ride was on a completely new bike (NBD).
Rode ca 40km up and down Rhine river (generally N/S with some "ondulations"). Wind was blowing quite substantially from SW. Perceived yaw angles between 0 and +/15 deg.
Tires are 28mm Michelin PC (30.5mm WAM).
Bike felt very stable, one could feel the wind pressure at the bar but that was more a gentle push than anything else. I'd say there is not much steering moment but the wind pushes at the front and aft side of the rim equally. Felt good 😀. Sailing effect is there, too (comparable with my RB Rolf Ares 6). Wheels feel stiff and (considering their depth) easy to accelerate.
Really nothing to complain, just need to get used to the inaudible (vs wind noise at road speed 33-45kph) freewheel.
And they simply look great on my Titici Alfa 😁

Hello.

I am planning to buy the new cube litening air slt 2025 which comes standard with the newmen streem vonoa climbers (c.35 front and c.38 rear).
However I have asked my dealer if he can replace the climbers with the new all-round ones (also with carbon spokes and measures 49mm deep front and 54mm deep rear) and he agrees.
I think the combination of such a light bike with these wheels will have the best of both worlds but I would like to know your opinion.

The climbs I usually do don't exceed 12-15min although in the summer I go to the mountains a couple of times to do 1 hour climbs.

As you already know the weight difference is around 300 grams...

Is anyone aware of the S66 rear wheel with Shimano HG hub is available anywhere in Europe?

Bike-Discount and Bike24 were supposedly getting some in stock throughout next week but now it just says "not available".
I already have the front 60mm wheel..

with steel spokes 21. Oct.
with carbon spokes 9. Dec.

Similiar issue here. Waiting for 3 C.35 Vonoa to which we already have the rear wheels. It's *f##k* annoying that they don't ship complete wheelsets or apparently produce the same amount of matching wheels. It's just a dick move to send orders out with half of it missing. Pretty sure theres dealers out there that have the front wheels and are missing the stuff I got, or vice versa. This helps nobody.

I set up the allrounds earlier this week and have been on three rides. As a comparison, the Roval rapide clx2s were my previous wheelset which I've been running for 2 years on my sl7.

I have to say the crosswind stability is on par with the clx2s and the wheels are noticeably easier to spin up. One of the days I had 17mph gusts (~27kmh) and I didn't have any difficulty with handling. I definitely think the wheels are stiff yet more comfortable than the clx2s with the same tires (conti 28mm gp5000str) due to the increased inner width.

My initial impressions are these are great wheels, especially considering the price. The only gripe is the freehub sound is way too quiet for my liking as I use it to notify people around me
