By the time they bring em to the market, might change mold and make them hooked. No way I'm dropping 3-4k on hookless.

It'd be expensive to change the mold ... I suspect cancelation of the project is more likely than that.

Also Scott are in disarray - the Korean majority owners and financial backers appear to have finally succeeded in getting rid of Zaugg, but there's still no announcement of a new CEO.

Any update on this?

I also cancelled my order in march 24 when they told me that 1 wheel will arrive at may 24 and the other later in september 24. But now i'm already thinking again of purchasing them but i'm asking me what could be the reason of the massiv delay... Do they have a problem with the wheel itself? I don't think that the reason is money or not enough production capacity. I also don't think that they price will decrease.

The bike shop I pre-ordered from told me "late November" as the latest ETA from Syncros, so I'll wait until then before checking in with them. But if anyone gets intel before then, I would love to hear it as well.

Mine are on the way and are scheduled to arrive on Thursday (Nov 21). Looking forward to getting them on the scale, though being firmly in offseason mode, the riding may have to wait a bit.

May I ask where you ordered yours from? Haven't found them in stock anywhere in USA.

Thx

Sure - I got mine from Brands Cycle (brandscycle.com), but they were a pre-order and not sure if they have any others to sell. Max at Brands is an absolute pleasure to deal with. If they don't have them, then try Bob's Bikes in Boise, ID (bobs-bicycles.com | 208-322-8042).

I picked some up direct from the Scott UK website. Stock seems to trickle in randomly and so you need to keep an eye on the website from day to day - mine were the last pair that I've seen in stock since I ordered them in mid-December.

I'm going to be sat waiting to use them as my Scott Addict frame looks to be landing in April now, but I am toying with using them on my current bike when the weather improves - it's hard work having shiny new wheels sat staring at me, unused and ready to roll.

Initial thoughts (heavily caveated by the fact I've not had a chance to ride them yet):

- they're very light (1g lighter than listed on the website)
- build quality is fantastic, they definitely look well put together
- fitting tyres was a doddle. Mounted GP5000 by hand
- they came with Sram Hub so I had to fork out an extra £100 to get a Shimano hub. I dont recall that being made clear on the website when I bought them (but I was in a rush to snag them), but it feels a bit 'tight' when you've just spuffed £3.6k on a wheelset
- It's nice not needing to tape the wheels up
