To be fair I get that with a new Continental S TR as well. However over time that smooth feeling slowly fades by a small amount. I'm just saying that new tires always feel great in my opinion.cleanneon98 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 12:30 pmI went from S TR to TLR RS and to me the Pirelli rides better. Did about 10 miles of chip seal which was laid down 2-4 weeks ago in various places and they just glide over it with minimal buzz

I'm at 600 miles at this point and feel is very subjective anyway, but I guess if someone doesn't swap between brand new tires to compare it might be hard to tell.

Looks like Pirelli have introduced the P Zero Race TLR X. “Made in Europe,” so they’re still contracting Hutchinson. Bead-to-bead puncture protection, but no SpeedCore since that’s their own secret sauce. Weights are roughly the same as the SpeedCore version and wouldn’t be surprised if performance ends up being very close.
first google result shows it already on sale in an italian shop

conti GP 5000 28mm and P Zero Road 28mm is ~74mm, Zero Race TLR 28mm is ~70mm :/

TLR X is an "all road" tyre?

I have an unmounted one that I repaired recently that's sitting around.
Measured the back of the tyre from edge to edge. Somewhere between 79mm and 80mm. Consistent measurements all around the tyre.
Woops. Zero race tlr speedcore 30mm
Not sure if this is news or I missed it, but these are now in stock on BikeInn in 35c and 40c versions at long last.

Surely a typo - my 30mm ones came in around 330g, I'd be amazed if 40mm was only 45g heavier.
