So received my Evo S5 wheelset. They're light!! Didn't weigh them but yeah big difference from my 2019 Zipp 303 Firecrest. Ordered steel bearing but they roll very nice. Currently running on TPU's will convert to tubeless when I can be bothered.
They are not painted but looks like naked carbon. So I've never had this before in the past so you can see a lot of micro scratches and imperfections on the rim surface. Plus they are very easy to scratch up!!!! So yeah that would be pretty much so far the only thing I dislike about them. Coming from painted Zipp 303 wheels where they wouldn't scratch up so easily.

Are you talking about the lockring? Don't think it really matters and more to do with the cassette you're running instead of wheelset. Not familiar with fs version but sounds like the unpainted "out of the mold" finished product that LB also uses on certain rims. The individual hair like strands of the UD carbon is easily visible and slight misalignment, crossed, etc is also visible. I think this is a great look. While easy to scratch it also seems like a hard shell that takes impacts better. I have several of these rims and prefer them over sanded and coated rims. They look handmade, and of higher quality. No, the Farsports EVO rims finishing are certainly very different from Light Bicycle Pro series rims. The micro scratches are very prominent and there is no such scratch on the LB Pro rims. From what I have seen from pictures from other owner and the real wheels of my friend, the scratches look like sanding scratches. Ok. Sounds like a different finish altogether. The way it was described sounded like the LB Pro method. My Schwalbe One in 28c pump to 32, the 30c version goes up to nearly 34.

Depends on the tyres. My Pirelli P Zero Race TLR 30mm tyres measured just over 32.
Thanks for the feedback. I was just wondering. I think 30 external is a drawback if I wanna use 30c. I got an offer from a brand called FASTOP with a rim of 25 int and 32 ext. The hub looks exactly the same as the rd270 but ofc they didn't confirmed it. And by the way this offer is within a more competitive price. Does anyone knows the brand or bought directly from them? I'm almost sure is produced at farsports rim factory and the hubs also at their machining center.
For those with the EVO S rims, can you confirm if the spokes can be trued externally? I know there are no holes in the rim bed and if so, internal truing would be a pain.
I already own a pair of Wheelsfar with the RD270 and the internal truing is a pain in the ass!

I've been trying to decide what wheels to get for my SL8 and the S5 Evos were looking like front runners until now. Would the finish and scratches on these deter you from recommending them?
